If you’re in Fort Saint John for the end of summer, you’ll definitely want to check out these exciting events:

Who Made Who AC/DC Tribute at The Lido
Ever wanted to see ACDC live? The Lido theatre is prepared to give you the next best thing on August 2nd - the best, most realistic impersonators of AC/DC and each of its band members, who constantly sell out venues across Canada: The Who Made Who AC/DC Tribute Show! The band has amazing energy, outfits just like Angus Young’s, and excellent stage production. Just $20 general admission, or $35 at the door, you can live out your hard rock dreams for a night all over again!

Ok Tire Treasure Hunt
When was the last time you took part in a treasure hunt? Back by popular demand, Moose FM radio has brought back the weekly OK Tire Treasure Hunt, where you can win a part of $20,000 in prizes! Tune in at 7:50 every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning for clues, and get out on the town for some scavenging! Prizes include a $500 OK Tire gift card, a helicopter tour from Bailey Helicopters, a trip for 2 to see Luke Bryan in concert, and a $5,500 gift card for Trail Blaz’n Power!

Pound the Park Workout
Cherisse, your friendly neighbourhood POUND fitness instructor has now curated a weekly rock-n-roll fitness regime designed to get you sweating and in shape! For ages 16+, join in on any Thursday at Pomeroy Sports Centre for just $10, and get fit by making rock-inspired beats with drumsticks, doing intense cardio, as well as strength-training movements to the music! What’s not to love?

Doc Kearney Solar Print Exhibit at the Fort Saint John North Peace Museum
For just $6, you can explore the exhibit that tells the story of Doc Kearney, the second doctor to work in Fort St John, who performed surgery over the radio, and retrofitted his Ford Model T into a makeshift ambulance! The images depict his life in medical training and as a doctor, all solar-printed on linen and curated by his niece, Margaret Rodgers. Catch this great exhibition until August 24th!
