Peace Country Classic Agri-Show: March 10 to 12

posted by: Stonebridge Hotel on: February 09, 2016 04:19:19 PM

It’s March and you know what that means around these parts: The Peace Country Classic Agri-Show! Coming back to Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie for the 31st year, the Agri-Show is a main event in the region and it’s time to start trip planning now!
According to show president Dave Martin, this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever, with more than 20 seminars and exhibitions, dozens of local suppliers selling the newest technology in agriculture and some incredible animals at the Northern Classic Bull Show & Sale in the Drysdale Centre. There is also plenty of things to do for the little ones with an awesome Kid Zone, a petting zoo and more kid activities at the Lewis Hawkes Pavilion.
Each year, the County of Grande Prairie sponsors a Farm Family of the Year at the Agri-Show. This year, the Richard’s from the LaGlace area will be receiving the special honour - meet three generations of this proud Canadian farm family, currently in the grain business.
Taking place at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie, this year’s Agri-Show hours are Thursday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday March 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and  Saturday March 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking is free.
